Where to Meet for Your Tour
We will meet at the Houston Visitors Center that is temporarily located in the Hilton Americas at 1600 Lamar Street, Houston, Texas 77010.
The Houston Visitors Center is located on the east side of the building at approximately 1250 Avenida de las Americas, Houston, Texas 77010 if one is using a GPS.
Parking is available:
- In the Hilton Americas Hotel garage at approximately 1730 Polk Street, Houston, Texas 77003. This is behind the hotel. Polk Street is parallel to Lamar Street. The staff at the Visitors Center can validate your parking to save the cost of one hour if you bring your parking ticket to them to be stamped.
- Metered parking is available on Jackson Street by the Toyota Center and Lamar Street by Discovery Green Park. The meters are free after 6:00 PM and all day on Sunday. Some meters have a parking time limit of 3 hours.
- Underneath Discovery Green Park. Access to the entrance is at approximately 1000 Avenida de Las Americas, Houston, Texas 77010. Use a GPS to find this address. It is not shown on the outside. It is across from the George R. Brown (GRB) Convention Center.
