Houston Universities Tour
Did you know that Houston is home to five major universities? Houston is an academic magnet attracting people from around the world to come here to study and often never leave. Learn about them in this six-hour tour. You will have opportunities to walk on the campus, visit museums, see works of art, see stadiums, learn about campus life, and examine the layout and design of the buildings and landscaping of some beautiful institutions.

The dates are when the institution was found and changed names.
- Rice University (RU) – 1912 and 1960.
- University of Saint Thomas (UST) – 1947.
- Texas Southern University (TSU) – 1927, (1945 – 1963 private), 1947, and 1951.
- Houston Baptist University (HBU) – 1963 and 1966.
- University of Houston (UH) – 1927, 1934, 1983, and 1991.
Lunch is on the campus of one of these universities or close by at a typical restaurant patronized by college students and or faculty.

We normally eat lunch on or near a campus. Bring lunch money of typically between $10.00 and $20.00.
If you would like an abbreviated tour or longer one, just let us so we can customize it for you. The standard tour is six hours. For a six-hour tour, we normally start at 9:30 or 10:00 AM, after the rush hour should have ended.
