Halloween Tours

In October 2018, we introduced two new seasonal tours. These tours are only available in October and the first week of November. These are Halloween Tours that will take you to some of the most unique and fun looking homes in and around Houston. You will see a home with over 4 dozen imitation skeletons taking over the house and lawn, and other homes with huge inflatable images of ghosts, black cats, witches, warlocks, the specter of Death, the devil, Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos presentations, aliens from other planets, monsters, mummies, vampires, fake graveyards, music that coordinates with illuminated images, and much more. You will see displays on front lawns, in trees, hanging from trees, on the sides of houses, in windows, and on roof-tops.

These tours are great fun for families with children and friends.

These are short tours of 2 and 3 hours. They do not go to commercial haunted houses, but into different neighborhoods of Houston as well as Bellaire and West University Place. You may have the opportunity to do a little trick or treating.

The 3-hour tour includes going into the elite neighborhoods of Tanglewood and River Oaks. One house in Tanglewood has a low-wattage radio station that plays fun and creepy music that is correlated to flashing neon lights on the house and the images of creatures singing.

We can be flexible on the start time to accommodate our clients. We learned in our first year of offering these tours in 2018, that the tours need to be primarily conducted during the light of day. Many displays are not independently illuminated. Consequently, they cannot easily be seen at night. Furthermore, if a tour starts after 3:30 PM, it will extend into rush hour traffic on weekdays. Rush hour often begins by 4:00 PM, and earlier on a Friday. Thus, it can result in some sites that have to be skipped due to traffic congestion. Ideally, a 2-hour tour should start no later than 2:00 PM and a 3-hour tour should start no later than 1:00 PM to avoid the rush hour traffic. If requested, we can start tours at later times, but beware of rush hour traffic and darkness interfering with the visibility.
