City Tours of Houston

The following information is for groups of 1 — 6 people. More time must be allotted for larger groups getting on and off large vans and buses, walking around sites, and eating lunch.
Tours A, B, and C do not include a stop for lunch.
Driving tours cover between 40 – 55 miles.
The bold-faced stops are those added beyond the previous tour.
Bathroom opportunities exist at City Hall, lunch, and at each museum.

Tours D and E are the most popular tours.

This tour includes downtown, the Greater Houston Convention & Visitors Center, City Hall, Theater District, former banking district, downtown stadiums, Discovery Green Park, Sam Houston Park, historic houses of worship, homes and cemeteries, famous buildings, Freedmen’s Town, River Oaks, the Rice Village, Rice University, the Museum District, and Hermann Park.

This tour includes downtown, the Greater Houston Convention & Visitors Center, City Hall, Theater District, former banking district, downtown stadiums, Discovery Green Park, Sam Houston Park, historic houses of worship, homes and cemeteries, famous buildings, Freedmen’s Town, River Oaks, the Rice Village, Rice University, the Museum District, and Hermann Park.

Additional:  the Texas Medical Center, south side stadiums, the Galleria area, Folk Art, Memorial Park, Beer Can House, Box Springs House, Gargoyle House, art car studio, and Sculpturworx, and a stop at City Hall.

Additional:  the Historic 6th Ward with its Victorian homes, houses of worship, and folk art and stops at the Beer Can House and Sculpturworx.
